Name: Ivynose
Short Description: Dark gray tabby with white markings and green eyes.
Age: 30 moons
Gender: She-cat
Family: (all npc - feel free to ask about siblings, preferrably traditionally-named - I don't mind helping with the name!)
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Deputy
Personality: A fairly straightforward cat, Ivynose rarely tries to obscure what she's trying to do, even if it's something embarrassing; if a situation can be described as the latter, she will only hesitate for a very short period before owning up. This in mind, she actually very rarely does anything out of line, as she respects the structure of the Clan and the code that encompasses it. She has a bit of trouble when some-cat attempts to do something morally correct that's blatantly against the rules; an example of this would be secretly harboring a cat from a neighboring Clan without the other Clan's knowledge.
Her ability to track is something she's very notable for, as she's able to track in most rainy and wet environments; some might joke she'd be better as the ShadowClan deputy, but she loves her Clan and wouldn't give it up for anything else. Her ability to fight is a little below average; she may have basics down, but she never pursued anything more complicated than that. Because of this, she likes to employ modified hunting tactics instead, usually rooted in an ambush tactic. Her swimming ability is about the same as the rest of her Clan, although, when compared to other out-of-Clan cats, she is above average. She's not terrifically fast, but about average for her build. Since she's so skilled at tracking, she has a bit of an advantage in hunting - though this skill doesn't rival her tracking skill at any length.
History: She was born to a somewhat reluctant mother and a happy father, both younger warriors. During her kithood, her father visited often, always engaging in some play before having to leave for a hunting or border patrol. Her mother was a little reserved, as Ivynose was from her first litter, but wasn't unkind to her. Ivynose didn't get into any big trouble as a kit, aside from leaving mossballs where she'd last played without bringing them back to the nursery.
When she graduated, she was given a mentor who would emphasize her tracking skill, which she had initially proven well at. Small tasks were given, usually along the lines of finding something that would stand out in someway - sometimes visibly, like a strangely-shaped river rock, or even scentwise, like a stick intertwined with herbs hidden away somewhere. She got along well with her mentor, and although she didn't receive excessive praise, she did her best - and it showed.
When she became a warrior, she was given the -nose suffix to highlight her skill in tracking. She was chosen as the deputy because of her honest, modest, and sympathetic qualities.
