Personality: Mothstar is a bold cat. He isnt afraid to speak his mind and may come off rather rude when doing so. He doesnt intend any malice, but sometimes ruffles some fur with how he speaks. He has deep love for his clan, though its hard for him to become extremely close with another cat. Mothstar has a hard time opening up personally, which can make him seem somewhat closed off to others. He is shy when it comes to talking about himself and his interests. He would much rather learn about his clanmates than discuss himself. He is fiercely loyal to his clan and friends though.
Mothstar can get over confident and jump into things without thinking. This makes for some dangerous situations for himself and sometimes his clan. He is lucky to have a deputy for guidance. Mothstar is a good leader as long as his negative traits are kept in check with patience and reason. He is very eager to teach, and takes the task of mentor with enthusiasm. Mothstar supports teaching and learning, despite a cats age. He believes everyone can learn (even himself, if he stops being stubborn). Overall hes a quick mouthed, confident, impulsive but protective and caring leader.
History: Mothstar was born to Foxpelt and Thistlefoot. He was a single kit, growing up without any siblings. He grew up a spoiled kit. Mothkit had a fairly average kithood- playing with older cats, getting into trouble and pestering warriors. He was made an apprentice at 6 moons, becoming Mothpaw. He was eager to begin training and was assigned a she-cat named Maplestorm. Mothpaw and Maplestorm took on training right away. Mothpaw wasnt fantastic at hunting but excelled in battling. He enjoyed the thrill and thinking of strategies on spot. Through Mothpaw's training his mother came down with greencough and died from it. He was sad but it didnt damper his enthusiasm, if anything, it made him more ready to do well. Mothpaw was made a warrior once he completed his training. He was given the name Mothclaw.
Mothclaw took on his warrior duties and entered the steady rhythm of a warrior. Soon after being made a warrior windclan had a battle with shadowclan over hunting territory. Windclan won the battle, but had injuries and some deaths, one being Mothclaw's old mentor, Maplestorm. The tom was sad but knew the warrior who had trained him had died protecting what she loved and he had fought with the same motivation- what she had taught him. Mothclaw continued life and was made a mentor before too long. He was assigned a shecat named Redpaw. He trained the young cat eagerly, finding he had a passion for mentoring. The apprenticeship went without many problems, and the shecat was made a warrior when she was old enough. Some moons later, Mothclaw was with his father (then retired to the elder den) when he passed away peacefully. Mothclaw wasnt sad he had no kin left because his clan was his kin. He didnt feel alone and enjoyed his duties and standing with his clanmates. Mothclaw showed enough skill and dedication, despite his impulsiveness, to be made deputy when the previous one died chasing off a badger. When the previous leader died, Mothclaw was made leader and gained his nine lives. Now Mothstar, he is the recently made leader of windclan.
