Personality: Applepaw is friendly but hard to get close to. He loves friends but has a hard time trusting others enough to open up. He is terrified of being hurt and showing weakness. He has a lot of pride for his clan and wants to be nothing but strong for it. Applepaw wants friends and closeness but is conflicted with his love for his clan. He tends to let others in then push them away when he feels he is becoming weak. This causes a lot of conflict when it comes to clanmates since it makes him seem rather indecisive. Applepaw has a few self confidence issues. He wants to be strong and show no weakness. He is easily let down though, and gets discouraged in himself quickly. Clanmates are everything to Applepaw, he needs the support and reassurance he is not useless to the clan. When he is confident and doing well he is an excellent member of the clan. Applepaw does his best in everything, and especially enjoys battling. In the heat of battle, his mind works well- split decisions coming easily and offensive/defensive moves feel natural. Battling seems to be the one thing Applepaw is extremely confident in himself about, though he pushes himself very hard to be successful with it.

When interacting with others he is open and friendly enough. Becoming close friends or more is a challenge and takes a lot of patience. Applepaw enjoys company of others and would not do well without his clan. The presence of familiar cats is very comforting to him and he feels safe and at home with his clan. Towards other clans he is somewhat hostile, though curious about them and how they go about life. In all honesty, Applepaw might be more willing to open up about himself to a cat from another clan just so he could learn more about them. His curiosity may get him into trouble sometimes.

History: Applepaw was born to a she-cat named Pinestep. His father was absent, no one in the clan ever knew for sure who he was, or found out. He was born with two siblings- a sister, Mosskit, and a brother, Foxkit. Foxkit was weak at birth and died before he was even a moon old. The two remaining kits had a normal kithood. They were made apprentices at 6 moons old and have been training since.
