Personality: Though Rustpaw is only an apprentice, but he embraces that he is bound for great things. His loyalty to his clan aspires him to the best warrior be could be. He may be considered a perfectionist, practicing a skill into he believes he mastered it. His leader is considered his greatest role model. He wishes to eventually become leader, and doesn't believe his dreams are out of reach.

Nagging the warriors to become an apprentice early, going off into the woods alone while he was just a kit, and accidently scaring his brother while trying to prove he was a superior fighter are just a few times his ambitious ways have gotten him into trouble. Rustpaw struggles with knowing when to stop. He can get so caught up in his own ambition, he may accidently injure somebody, but It's never his intention to hurt another clan-mate.

Rustpaw may put himself above other, especially since he thinks almost nobody tries harder than he. For the most part he does respect his elders, the deputy, and of course, his leader. He is arrogant and has a hard time believing he is wrong. Even though he is conceited, he is very intelligent. Before he jumps into something, he observes and soaks every bit of information he can retain and exerts it upon himself. He tries to find different solutions to any problems he may come across.

He has extreme faith in himself, ThunderClan, and StarClan. He believes his faith makes himself stronger than the other apprentices. No matter what difficult trials he may face, his faith will help him succeed in anything he wants to accomplished. He believes a good leader must be confident in himself before he can lead the clan. He wants himself to be the great leader be imagines.

History: Rustpaw's mother and father were both respected ThunderClan warriors. Whiteclaw, his mother was known for her hunting skills and was once a medicine cat apprentice. She had a great belief in StarClan, but was not comfortable taken care of injured cats. Ashfeather, his father, was a strong tom with a fierce reputation for a firey attitude. Ashfeather was killed in an accident before his kits were born.  

Whiteclaw gave birth to two healthy kits, Ashkit and Rustkit. The two brother were identically in every way. Both had a spit-fire personality, along with tabby orange pelts. Both resemble their father. She brought them up with stories about StarClan and faith. She taught them to trust in themselves and good things will follow. The two kits were well loved and treated equally.

Rustpaw and his brother would bicker about whom was better suit to become leader. They play fought and cause trouble from time to time. Whiteclaw would remind them of the warrior code and they would straighten up for a couple of days. One day, in a heated dispute on whom was a better fight, Rustpaw clawed Ashkit's eye badly. Ashkit wound eventually got infected and he died. Rustpaw felt the weight of his brother's death on his shoulders. His mother never blamed him and comforted him. She would tell him Ashkit is finally able to meet their father and that all things happen for a reason. He realized it was a awful accident, but sometime his brother's face haunts his dreams.

A couple of days before Rustpaw would become an apprentice a bad case of green cough was spread around the nursery. Unfortunate, Whiteclaw did not make it long enough to see her kit become an apprentice. Rustpaw pledged to his mother to become the best warrior he can be and to make her proud.
